SLLC -2020/21 Closing Remarks!

With the academic year almost over and club activities coming to a halt, it is time for the current SLLC to step down after an exhilarating and successful year for after-school clubs! Here are our closing remarks before the final term newsletter.

President: Gazi Sharita Fairooz

‘Graduating this year is a bittersweet affair. Despite the multitude of hurdles we have faced this year, being a part of the SLLC has been a rewarding experience. This year we dealt with 14 clubs and hosted multiple major events. We have tried our level best to fortify after-school club activities even if we were separated by virtual screens. However, none of it would be possible without the help of our proficient club leaders and the events office! I hope that the SLLC next year will find their experience to be as equally gratifying!’

Vice President: Shafa Siddiqua

Being a part of SLLC has been an experience of its own. It felt like small community where we prioritized healthy competitions, true leadership and commitment. If anything, the whole journey has been enriching and I hope it continues to be the same or even better for the future leaders of SLLC!

General Secretary: Maisha Tasfia Rahman

Being the member secretary for SLLC was both exhausting and awarding. We had to work and gather quite a lot but the process was made easier with our very capable leaders. We had seen ups and downs, but most importantly enjoyed our times doing so. SLLC allowed me to bond with other leaders and members of the club, a bond which I hold most dearly even now. The responsibility over all the other clubs at school who work hard in their own way, while you get to supervise is ravishing itself, especially when you see the end product. The work was not easy, yet the friendships and will to work were easily something one could accomplish.
