Dance Club – 2022/23 Leadership Profile
AFIA IBNAT HALIM- PRESIDENT
I am overjoyed to finally be able to name myself the president of Dance Club. Not telling the cliché line that I joined dance class when I started school, but I would go one step ahead and tell I started dancing even before I went to school. Since then, I have learned a lot and would love to share my experiences and what I learned throughout with the club members and also learn more from them, because you can always learn more from anyone.
PROGGA PARMITA RUPKOTHA – VICE PRESIDENT
The pandemic enabled me to realize how much i have missed dancing with my fellow dancers and how much i truly enjoy this form of art. Extremely eager to get back on stage.
SAAFIA ISLAM – STRATEGIST
An exceptional form of art and expression, dance has always been an integral and memorable part of my childhood. I am set to continue practicing my passion with my dance companions in hopes of making even greater memories. Looking forward to a remarkable year with everyone.
SARAF WASIMA – SECRETARY
I started joining dance classes since I was 6 years old but I have been dancing since very young. I participated on alot of programs in Scholastica since nursery and I am very grateful for where I am now.
JANNATUL FERDOUS ROHENE – TRESURER
I never anticipated myself being able to stand here and identify as a member of the Dance Club EB. I’m still in awe at the fact that I’m in such a high position. I’m quite appreciative for the opportunity to engage in numerous programs.
ZUNAIRAH AFSHIN ALEEVA – TECHNOLOGIST
A peculiar sensation of euphoria goes through my veins every time I walk onto the stage. It’s almost ethereal to the point where I’d work another month simply to reclaim the sensation I receive on stage. I’m hoping I’ll be able to sense it again, but for the time being, I’ve got friends who I know will stick by my side while I continue to play in front of large audiences.
