On 13th October, Scholastica Community Service Club, Amnesty International Club and Scholastica Business Club hosted a collaborative fundraising bake sale in Senior Campus, Uttara. Club members volunteered to showcase their baking skills, leading to an accumulation of 340 items, ranging from cupcakes, muffins, brownies, donuts and pastries.

Club leaders and members of each club, under the supervision of the faculty advisors, Salauddin Mahtab and Rezwan Hossain, carried out the sale of all the baked goods during the lunch break (11:20am-12:00pm). Overwhelmed by the massive response from the students, all baked goods were sold out. An estimated revenue of 35k BDT was raised through the sales, which is to be donated to Sporsho Foundation, to help blind children get access to braille storybooks. The huge success of the event would have been impossible without the support from the school management, club leaders, all volunteers, faculty advisors and the students!
