The Amnesty International Human Rights Club is a platform for young individuals to join the world’s largest movement for human rights. The club offers students to connect on issues across the region, share opinions, learn and collectively take actions on pertinent human rights issues.

President: ”Imagine a life where you don’t have access to work and education, a society that neglects your voice and opinions, a household where you’re enslaved and tortured, and a nation that denies to recognise your identity. As dystopian as it seems, these are only some of the human rights violations taking place around the world. Amnesty International Human Rights Club is a small initiative towards a greater humanitarian change around all societies.”

Vice President: ”Amnesty International Human Rights Club is a platform for youth, by youth, where like-minded people come together to learn, mobilise and act on human rights issues. It’s the perfect amalgamation of education, entertainment and activism!”

Secretary: “The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.” While paladins around the world fight to preserve their rights, human rights are still being jeopardised. As a executive board of member of the Amnesty Human Rights Club, my duty is not only to represent this club, but to spread its virtues to everyone in the society. Without human rights, humanities is bound to falter. Hence I intend to preserve my basic rights and ensure everyone around me can get to enjoy their rights as well.”

Strategist: ”Some values are universal and everlasting one such value is human rights, no matter who you are, where you are from or what you did, human rights must prevail for each and everyone of us.”

Treasurer: ”To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity- together we ensure none of our rights are infringed to aim for a better future.”

Technologist: ”Honoured to be part of the club’s agenda, and will be working diligently behind the scenes towards this club’s success in its first year.”
