Modern entrepreneurs are bold, fierce, and innovative. The business world is very dynamic, therefore new-age start-ups are versatile and problem solvers. Entrepreneurs are always looking for market gaps to satisfy people’s problems to solve. SBC is providing its members to showcase THEIR entrepreneurial skills as they commit to showcasing a business model of their own. An opportunity for our members  to grow different skills that will help them in the long run. A competition to help our participants take the first step in the world of business! Students from Classes VII to XII can participate in this competition.

Competition dates: 5th & 6th November
Venue: Google Meet

There are 2 categories in this competition:

Start-up pitch:-
Members will be competing in teams of 2 to 3 to pitch a unique business idea of their own for the developing and dynamic world of business.

Round 1: Intro to your start-up.
Each team will be required to submit a word document of 200 to 250 words giving a short and to the point overview of their start-up.

Points to include:
-Name of the business
-Type of business
-What are they going to sell

Round 2: Each team will be required to prepare a PowerPoint presentation covering the following points;
-Explain their products and service in details
-Revenue model
-The 4p’s of marketing for their start-up
-Target market identification
(Each team will be given 7 mins to present, followed by a q/a session by the judges)

Round 3: Selected teams will be required to elaborate their plans for their start-up. They must prepare a PowerPoint presentation covering the following points;
-investment scheme
-Profitability prospect
-employment
-Growth plan
(Each team will be given 10 mins to present, followed by a q/a session by the judges)

Salesman pitch:-
Each team is required to present their assigned products to pursue the judges to purchase it. Teams can prepare PowerPoint presentations, commercial videos, posters etc for their presentation.

Round 1: Theme- tech (5 mins)
Round 2: Theme- perishables (7 mins)
Round 3: Theme- Retro/vintage (10 mins)
